so for thanksgiving and black friday..

i've finally updated my

HELLO NIKKI STORE

since you've been patiently waiting for this post, i first wanted to thank you all for your love and warm messages on facebook, twitter, and emails. you definitely make blogging worth while. it's pretty neat to have such a sweet fan base/readers/followers and i appreciate it with all my heart.

and because of the long wait, i've included to sell items highly requested that i've worn the past year throughout my blog.

Make a difference when you shop! Donations from my eBay listings go towards the Divine Mercy Eucharistic- Mary's House located in San Pablo, CA. I feel very strong about this cause because it provides an outlet for pregnant women to turn, give the option as a halfway house so women do not need to choose abortion and helps women get back on their feet after childbirth. This home is run by donations from the proceeds of their volunteer-run thrift shop and because I felt very fortunate during my pregnancy, I relate to the importance of how having the support can make such an impact :)

so i'll admit in the past i've been notorious for lagging.. but nowadays im pretty punctual which is why im usually ready first. believe it or not it doesn't take me very long to get dolled up.. and i too surprise myself often.. but that usually happens when i already know what to wear.. and this is what i look like waiting patiently to get the night started distracting myself on my iphone catching up on words with friends or reading my tweets but now ive decided to update my blog so here you go :)

today: workout in marina, lunch with my favorite ladies at thai bbq, visited my mom's, hung out with mav, and now about to head to a comedy show.....

inside the worlds largest hotel lobby, the hyatt regency on embarcadero has THE best indoor holiday decor thats adorned with a massive shower of 300,000 lights cascading through the atrium. This exhibit is so grand pictures cannot do it justice and you have to just go there to see it for yourself. And while you're there makes sure to check out the ice skating rink and lots of good shops and restaurants. we ate at OSHA that was literally right next to Sens Restaurant where we attended the LF Clothing Fashion Show, Socialista. then partied the night away by our table with a view of the lit sign Port of San Francisco and danced our butts off.

i was never a big fan of the harem pant look on myself until my roommate found a pair that actually fits me well. she does all sorts of nice things like that and takes most of my photos for my blog or surprises me with random gifts like a tiny notebook that says one smart cookie or the oversized rayban wayfrayers i searched high and low for just to make my day.. she bakes me banana nut bread with chocolate chips from trader joes.. and she keeps me company with maverick while we watch tuesday night tv which happens again today! can't wait :)

i know i know, i've been MIA for a bit.. and often i go on this random hiatus here and there-- but i'm back! i'm swamped with a ton of emails and messages to return so thanks for your patience :)

anyway november is storming by so fast.. some highlights from the week since my last post- sunday, i ate at the best peruvian restaurant in san francisco fresca .. followed by watching law abiding citizen which was an excellent movie.. matrix on monday nights are the shit.. can't get enough of 90210 on tuesdays along with my regular lineup of tv to watch.. wednesday i enjoyed my favorite squash and cheese pupusa with extra extra hot sauce and a horchata .. thursday leftover apple pie from costco and clover vanilla bean ice cream really suited my dessert for breakfast.. friday the 13th i realized my talent for cleaning and organization- specifically closets.. saturday got my hair done then got my regular tofu steak and miami roll to go from miyake.. and today i attended the philippine international aid fashion show and that sums it up in a nutshell but better yet just catch me on twitter :)

bittersweet cafe on fillmore is a cute, cozy spot that somewhat reminds me of the Friend's coffee shop, Central Perk, with the distressed chairs and tables and the warm feel. they also have free wifi here which makes it a perfect place to study/blog/work/unwind. my girlfriend Maria and I enjoyed a Chocolate Thai Iced Tea the first time I came here and ever since then I've been hooked on this place. This time around I decided to go with Yelp's reviews and try the classic hot chocolate which actually is really good. I'm a big fan of ice cold chocolate milk but since it was raining i opted to go for the hot and it definitely hit the spot.

golden gate park is just a couple blocks away from my home which is something i don't take advantage of as much as i'd like. having lunch here reminded me a lot of central park in New York when we had a picnic.. and with so much happening here i wouldn't even know where to begin but all i can say right now is sunny saturday picnics= FUN FUN FUN.
